The Montepaldi Winery is owned by the University of Florence, which conducts numerous experiments and trials here in the cultivation of classic Tuscan grape varieties
The grappa is distilled in Modena and crafted with great care. On the nose, it's predominantly floral and only slightly spicy, while on the palate it reveals bold fruit (peach and apple) with base notes of honey and anise. We paired it with our chocolate cake, and it was a truly wonderful pairing! - Andrea Gori
